Mauro Lopes Filho│BEng MBA

Mauro Lopes is a mining industry executive with more than 20 years of experience in project development, business development, and strategic negotiations across the global mining sector. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA specializing in Foreign Trade.
Throughout his career, Mauro has worked with international EPCM organizations and junior mining companies, playing a key role in the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and development of mining assets. He has successfully supported projects from early-stage opportunity assessment and commercial negotiations through feasibility studies, financing discussions, construction, and operations. His experience spans South America, Europe, and Australia, providing him with a strong understanding of cross-cultural business environments and international investment frameworks.
As Managing Director of CONSEPRO Pty Ltd, Mauro advises mining companies, investors, and project owners on strategic partnerships, market entry, asset acquisition, and project development opportunities in Brazil. He has developed an extensive network within the Brazilian mining industry and has facilitated commercial discussions between Australian and Brazilian stakeholders across a wide range of commodities, including gold, copper, niobium, rare earth elements (REE), phosphate, uranium, and lithium.
Recognized for his strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, Mauro has successfully bridged technical, operational, and business objectives to create value for project developers and investors. His ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and identify mutually beneficial outcomes has contributed to the advancement of numerous mining ventures.
Mauro also serves as the Australian Representative for Invest Minas, the investment promotion agency of the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, where he supports trade, investment, and business development initiatives aimed at strengthening commercial relationships between Brazil and Australia.

Filipe Trajano │BEng MBA

With over 12 years of experience in the mining industry, Trajano has built a strong foundation in project licensing, strategic monitoring, and the maintenance of mineral rights. He’s skilled in the technical-economic analysis of mining projects, as well as the valuation and negotiation of mineral assets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering and an MBA with a focus on Finance.
 
Throughout his career, he has worked with both private companies and government agencies in Brazil, including the Brazilian Mining Agency (ANM) and the Minas Gerais Development Bank (BDMG).
 
At BDMG, Trajano served as a Privatization Advisor, focusing on the mining and metals sector. He played a key role in M&A transactions, with successes totaling over $50 million in market value, notably the CBL project, a lithium mining and processing company.
 
In 2023, he joined CONSEPRO, where he is dedicated to M&A and Business Development.

Leandro Rocco Nunes│BEng MBA

Leandro Nunes has over 13 years of experience working in mining companies, developing national and international negotiation strategies for both EPCM and owner’s team sides. He has worked with companies such as Ausenco Engineering, Tucano Gold Project, Equinox Gold, Yamana Gold, AMG Holland (lithium), and Latin Resources (Belo Lithium). His broad scope of responsibilities includes early project infrastructure development (covering environmental licenses and PEA studies), liaising with stakeholders, establishing Brazil’s initial team footprint, and managing contract negotiations. Leandro holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Production Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration.

Currently, he serves as a Technical Procurement Engineer, having developed and delivered projects across the country. He is committed to compliance regulations and develops strategic procurement plans that suit project needs, simplifying field execution.
